Oooh. I very nearly really like this. I think it's the way the top is made to look like she tied a black scarf around her for extra measure, or to prevent a modesty issue.... it's distracting and I feel like there could have been a similarly blocky top design that didn't look like a whim.

They look cool as cucumbers, as usual. Tracee apparently gave an interview about (spoiler?) how she's directing one of the four episodes in which Bow and Dre discuss divorce, and I have to say... is it wrong of me to hope they DO split up and that she show just becomes about Bow being a SUPER rad single working mom? Because Dre is my least favorite part of the show.

Rachel Brosnahan in Miu Miu

Okay, I have watched... I think five or six episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Rachel is very good in it. Jessica asked me what I thought of it, and my main thought was, "It's ... EXTREMELY Amy Sherman-Palladino." It is well-acted, and FOR SURE not as irritating as Bunheads, but also not as good as early Gilmore Girls. The sets and costumes are SUPER, though, and Alex Borstein is fabulous. In all, it's relaxing, except during moments where the scenes go on too long and I'm like, "Why am I watching her talk loudly to her friend for SO LONG during this weird aerobics class?" Also: Rachel looks nice, but I am ready to see her branch out from Miu Miu.

I still have a raging crush on Peter Hermann, and I am legitimately so anxious for him and Liza to get together for good on Younger that it has become hard to watch that show. I honestly think it could survive if Liza's jig is up -- she'd still be an older professional in amid a younger crowd; the title works. JUST GET IT ON, YOU TWO.
