She does a lot with it. It works a bit better when you can see neck -- like Sharon was about to go off a diving board and then turned to the camera for one last grin. ## 1994 - Claudia Schiffer ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/19941201-1609100202.jpg) That other Claudia cover was so much better. She is a great model; she is better than this mediocre result. ## 1995 - Julia Ormond ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/19951201-1609100206.jpg) This is SUCH a lovely cover of Julia (presumably in service of Sabrina). She is incredibly glamorous. Hollywood just kind of stopped using her as much, or at least not in high-profile stuff, but I gather she's on the new Walking Dead something-something? I also enjoyed her ennui in Mad Men. ## 1996 - Winona Ryder ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/19961201-1609100210.jpg) This was a good five years from her shoplifting arrest, which means the cover line is accidentally sort of bittersweet. She looks cute in this photo, but it could as easily be a vacation snap. ## 1997 - Shalom Harlow, Georgina Grenville ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/19971201-1609100214.jpg) This looks like a boring wedding. ## 1998 - Hillary ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/19981201-1609100218.jpg) That's a very regal portrait of Hillary and I hope she has it blown up and framed in her house. I would. I would hang it somewhere like the Play Like a Champion Today sign in the Notre Dame locker room, and I'd slap it every time I came and went. ## 1999 - Gisele ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/19991201-1609100222.jpg) This looks kind of like a catalog pose to me. ## 2000 - Nicole Kidman ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/20001201-1609100227.jpg) This is just so... harsh. It's harsh. It's doing a lot for Nicole's Satine hair and not a lot for anything else. ## 2001 - Gisele ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/20011201-1609100232.jpg) Even Gisele can take a bad photo now and then. This is so busy, and if she's meant to be the life of the party, then why does the whole enterprise look so cold? ## 2008 - Aniston ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/20081201-1609100263.jpg) This is a really flat cover of Jen. That cover line is also a bold shot at the S.S. Brangelina. Trumpeting that feels a lot more Us Weekly than Vogue, even if she DID say it. ## 2009 - Cate again ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/20091201-1609100267.jpg) I wish she had been wearing that red cape in the other cover. I also think that, while she generally looks glam, her dress's pelvic swell is distracting. ## 2010 - Angie ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/20101201-1609100271.jpg) Apparently Angie didn't care about the Jen cover line, or by 2010 needed Vogue enough that she didn't hold a grudge (honestly, most celebs are probably smart enough not to play that game with the big glossies). Nothing reads "holiday" about this, at all, but it IS a lovely photo of Angelina's bone structure, so... I guess that's not nothing.
