I think Demna is at a bit of an emotional crossroads or something. Designating your collection [as a tribute to clothes of yesteryear that had a real POV](https://www.elle.com/runway/a62267817/balenciaga-summer-2025-review/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) feels a *little* like saying you're missing this from your own work, no? Or maybe it's a swipe at everyone else's? And yet, so much of this is masks and jeans with upper thigh cutouts, and cropped coats and bulky layers and of course lingerie -- which to me is more "view" than "point of view," but whatever. I came away from this thinking the point of view was "fugly," which I guess IS the principle upon which this site was founded, so.
