## Emily Blunt in Schiaparelli

I appreciate the big, unexpected swing from Emily, whom I'd have predicted would wear something sleek. However, I cannot shake the notion that a wildebeest tried to eat its way into this thing and she had to make do.

Her makeup is great, and the top is interesting? It's just that the bottom looks like a shaggy geological formation. Or a yeti's labial folds. I could keep going but the returns are diminishing.

I knew this was going to be custom Vuitton when I saw the shape of that skirt. It isn't their best version of it; also not their worst. It seems stuff, as if it would move as a unit rather than flowing with her body. I also personally want the upturned ends of the boob cups to lean Devil Horns more than they do, and the matching shoes read a bit Prom. Imagine them in gold. Notes! I have them.

From this angle you can see the dropped waist more clearly. I might have liked it better if it fell naturally.

For some reason the only phot I had of him alone was from about a mile away. People! It's okay to give us Close-up Tooch.

## Meryl Streep in Givenchy

I absolutely would have guessed this was Balenciaga, but no. This is a superb get for Givenchy, so it's a shame that screams out someone else's name. I enjoy it on Meryl; Miranda Priestley IS the superhero of this whole enterprise, after all, and yes, I say that knowing the first movie pretends she's the villain (we all know it's really Andie and her terrible friends).

And then at some point Meryl ditched it and busted out this? I'd have hidden inside that leather cape dress all night long. She could've stolen every conceivable type of canape to bring home to Marty.
