I truly loathe these clunky Chanel pseudo-Tevas -- they call 'em Chanel Dad Sandals, and talk about something you can get, and better, for a substantially less obscene amount of money -- but it definitely tracks that Andy would bust these out with a truly average long denim skirt and with an outfit that would give Emily Blunt's character an instant brain tumor.

And the purse! With hideous coveralls! Miranda Priestley SURELY will roll down her car window and egg her.

The shoes aren't my fave, but I like them MUCH better now that I have realized that's a mic pack on her ankle and not just a REALLY weird sock.

Here's a semi-spoiler, I guess: A RUNWAY garment bag. I'm not clear whether they're following the plot of the second book, but if Andy somehow revolutionized the New Yorker with her genius and is brought in over Miranda's head to save Runway, I will have negative feelings!
