This is a great rock-and-roll look for Diane. She has a pretty potent cool factor that is occasionally at odds with her more experimental impulses, which is when we get jumbled nonsense [like this aluminum nightmare,](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/diane-kruger-wtfs-it-up-in-prabal-09-2017/) but I'm almost entirely feeling this. With two exceptions. I do actually like those shoes with this, but the dress was ready for her to nudge things in a funkier direction. But what I really struggle with are the dangling silver strings. I can't tell if it's because I truly think they look bad, or because I can't get over how IRRITATING they would be on my own body. Thwack, thwack, thwack, all night. Or getting snagged on my coat, or on other people's clothes, or on toilet paper if I bump against a dispenser. By the end of the night I would be borrowing a stapler from the event's back office and pinning them up. All class, I am.
