Lizzo has indomitable energy, which makes it all the more remarkable that she's almost getting lost in this ensemble. I want to love it, but I keep feeling like she's just counting down the minutes until she can rip off that wig and spare her neck a headache. Let's discuss this, and some of the other costumey getups at last night's VMAs, aka the night that reminds me I am -- like Danny Glover before me -- Too Old For This Shit.
