D23 is billed as "the world's ultimate fan experience," but it's [actually where the Mouse is selling all their upcoming stuff, including changes to the parks. ](https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/experience/theme-parks/2024/08/11/disney-world-disneyland-new-parks-announcements-d23/74755698007/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (The LA Times story is mostly about [how everyone's complaining about prices now](https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2024-08-11/d23-disney-mega-fans-price-increases-parks-matter?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), so we'll see how the sell actually goes.) I know this isn't true, but I decided that Jude Law is there because they're adding a *Talented Mr Ripley* ride where you have to try to avoid getting murdered by a conniving social climber in Italy. I actually *might* pay Disney prices for that.
