As a reminder, Jonathan Anderson also designs [Loewe](https://gofugyourself.com/tag/loewe?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and got [Juergen Teller to participate in this shoot for JW Anderson in 2021](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/catwalk-catch-up-j-w-anderson-10-2021/), so the quirk here is not a surprise. [Hypebeast](https://hypebeast.com/2022/6/jw-anderson-spring-summer-2023-runway-show-milan-fashion-week-mens?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) described this JW Anderson collection as "a commentary on what is wearable and what isn’t," which is amazing, because hardly any of it is. And WWD referred to his approach as ["intervening on" the basic garments](https://wwd.com/runway/mens-spring-2023/milan/jw-anderson/review/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which is an imposition of unwelcome will that certainly might apply to gluing a trashed skateboard to one's chest. And yet...
