Marcia "Kimberly Shaw" Cross is starring in an Off-Broadway play called *Pay The Writer*, which threw a benefit performance last night for the scribes and actors currently on strike -- a very wise tie-in, indeed. I miss Marcia, who was so brilliant on both Melrose Place and *Desperate Housewives*. She's worked very sporadically since, dipping a toe here and there while also working as a psychologist (I THINK she still does this?) and also [kicking anal cancer](https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/cancer-survivor-marcia-cross-warns-130353666.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I hope this is a precursor to her returning to television in a JUICY role somewhere, once the strike ends. Everyone start brainstorming now so that you're ready when the day arrives.
