I assume she and Kacey Musgraves have had a lot of hair-related discussions lately, as this seems like a coif Kacey would wholeheartedly support and even request. I'm actually a little underwhelmed by the rest of this. It's... fine? It's as if she pulled some pictures of Helena Bonham-Carter and said, "This, but... sleeker, and also more cabaret." It's all right. It doesn't move me. ** Edited to add it's apparently an Amy Winehouse tribute? The hair, anyway, and the color of her dress. (The dress itself bears no real resemblance.)

HOWEVER, someone please get her a cameo in a genre piece. I have no idea if she can act, but in this shot she's REALLY pulling off the hair and just imagine her with a cape and a cigarette in a long holder. Don Draper would have no chance.

For the stage show, she did, per BBC again, "It was a visual love letter to her home city of London, complete with Tube celloists and a Union Jack skirt which evoked memories of Spice Girl Geri Halliwell's famous patriotic dress." I actually did not entirely make the mental connection between this and Geri. Maybe I was too distracted by how the hair didn't hold up to much movement. I find that endearing! it means she was hurling herself into the performance even as we all know choreography is not her thing. (Did anyone see it live? I'm curious if she's able to do more complicated stuff or if they still mostly have her stomp and sway.) This also feels right for an Amy Winehouse salute, in mood anyway.

I like this suit! I just felt like we should bask in the colors.

Every award show really ought to let people pose with a life-size version of their statue. I'm surprised someone didn't COME as the statue. Imagine that as a catsuit. SOMEONE HAS. You know it.
