The cut of this dress is taking me right back to the aughts -- I feel like I wore halter dresses cut VERY similarly to a variety of weddings, and didn't everyone own a pair of black boots like that back then? I could swear Britney Spears had some. A commenter said the other day that Dua Lipa has been coming and going from a recording studio, so I've decided I hope this outfit means she's channeling the very early aughts for an album of covers and collabs. Reimagine some Britney, reinvent a couple boy-band classics, maybe engineer some disco Avril. We are deep into the weeds of slim celebrity pickings here, so tell me: What song do you think Dua Lipa would absolutely slay if she covered it?
