How exciting! (Also, Stephanie and Guillaume ran around the city with Kate for much of the day, so she had to come by and pick them up. From left to right, we've got: Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg, Princess Stephanie, Henri the Grand Duke of Luxembourg Who Looks Like Richard Chamberlain To Me, Maria Teresa the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg and Prince Guillaume. Here, Informative Caption is VERY Informative, and tells us that Kate "is participating in the official commemoration of the 1867 Treaty of London and will attend a series of engagements to celebrate the cultural and historic ties between the UK and Luxembourg." (This pic also includes Luxembourg Prime minister Xavier Bettel, and Franois Bellot, who is Belgium's Mobility Minister, and other people who were not identified but are probably Somehow Important.) While we're here: Kate's dress is Emilia Wickstead, and I like it. It's VERY appropriate. (Kate DOES like art, so this trip was well-suited to her interests.) In other photos, both kids were animated and chatty, but this picture just made me laugh. The little boy in the middle is like, "wait. Did I leave the toaster oven on while I was making this morning's PopTarts?
