ANYHOODLE, this dress is totally nice and fine and reasonable. A black cocktail dress for an art museum opening is stylistically a classic.

Don't EVER tell me I don't learn things from Fug Nation (although no one ever would). This gentleman with Meghan was not IDed by our photo source, but I learned [when Kate went to the V&A](https://gofugyourself.com/kate-opens-the-va-gucci-06-2017?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) that he is Ken Olisa, Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London. [(He is the first black Lord-Lieuntenant of Great London and is, generally speaking, a very accomplished person](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken%5FOlisa?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). He also wears a bow tie well, as we saw with Kate also.)

I really just pulled this shot because it looks so much like an Instagram Style Star shot -- you know the ones, where the Cute Girl is walking forward, but looking down, as if she's unaware of the camera and she's really just in the habit of smiling winsomely at the ground while adorably playing with her hair. (Note, before someone gets mad at me: I do not think this is a posed shot from Meghan, I literally think she is just looking down briefly to make sure she doesn't fall, and the photogs snapped that moment among all the other many many pics they took of her walking in. It just makes me laugh that she got photographed having the actual natural moment version of a pose that countless women on Instagram work really hard to create. That is SKILLED.)
