I just used this photo because I appreciated how much that bust managed to find its light, despite being an inanimate object. This is what happens when you visit actors! Even the knick-knacks know how to serve face.

Here's our entire arrival look; this woman (whose name I didn't get, but who must be a bigwig at this establishment) performed a VERY low curtsey when Meghan arrived. ALSO to be expected at a charity comprised of performers. (Note: Please do not think I am mocking those who perform the arts. I was the co-president of my high school drama society.)

That is an EXCELLENT cause and it feels right for Meghan to take this one over eventually. (You may recall, she and Harry went to the Royal Variety Performance earlier this year.)

I truly appreciate that this place has a bar (and, as you'll see in the next slide, a hair salon). I shall refuse to move into a senior center that DOESN'T have a pub and a hair salon. What is the point of getting old if you can't have a pint and then get a good blow-out? Dress-wise: Meghan doesn't wear a lot of patterns, and I'm glad that she did today. This dress is kind of Jane Austen meets Laura Ashley, and I am honestly sort of neutral on it? It looks a little bit tight, but HELLO, it's December 18th. My clothes are also a little bit tight and I'm not even gestating anything other than a cookie baby. I appreciate how romantic it is, and the neckline is great on her.

Informative Caption tells me that here Meghan is chatting with "Biddy (Elizabeth) de Nordwall and hairdresser Michael Anthony Shelton" and I am pretty sure that I want to hang out in the hair salon of a home for retired actors for the rest of my life. You know there would be TALES TO TELL. I feel like if she weren't on duty, Meghan would have perched there on the counter for a real gossip sesh.

This coat is VERY on-brand for Meghan, but it might be my favorite of her Robe Coats -- what sometimes looked too big on her before her pregnancy looks perfect right now. (She is, of course, wearing her beloved Aquazzura shoes and again I ask: How comfortable ARE they?!)
