Zendaya in Givenchy

I kept thinking this was a dress, but it seems to be a jacket over... well, either a dress or a skirt? It's definitely clicking with the futuristic theme they've adopted, since she's basically dressed as beautiful circuitry. Or in the slang of the day: She is Mother(board). I really like it, but what's throwing me off are the dark tights and shoes. I don't know what I would have done instead, but it does feel like the wrong ending. Or maybe the tights would be fine if the shoes were more fun? Z is not a Fun Shoe person, though.

On the runway it had red boots. They're maybe a bit strong but I like seeing it with an alternate option, and I understand this choice better. The black patent leather pump stops being a neutral when my eye freezes on it, you know?

You know you're fancy when you get the beaded, textured red sole on your Loubs. I guess at least the red ties in?

This collection twinkled in the dark, and Law had a shot of Zendaya in a stairwell to show that off, but obviously nobody replicated that at the premiere. I tried to get a shot in slightly different lighting, but it's only slight. Also, congrats to Zendaya for making red eye shadow work when mere mortals cannot.
