HE'S A TOTALLY IMPORTANT DESIGNER! Anyway, this is cute -- on point for a photocall, surely -- but the real star, to me, are the coordinating but not matching shoes. Karla Welch is Elisabeth's stylist and she sincerely knows what she is doing.

I love EVERYTHING about this. Including the charming South-of-France backdrop.

This is also, to my mind, pretty great. It's so 1950s After The Prom.

And it coordinates so well with the men's tuxes -- this is not inadvertant. She just looks very cool.

Although this might be harder to negotiate than pants, the tradeoff of THE DRAMA might make it worthwhile. Here's hoping she got to keep that leather jacket.
