This is delightfully girly -- it is so NICE to see her in a color that's so flattering on her.

I wish she'd put her hands down, so we could actually see the structure of the skirt, but this sort of retro-feeling, vintage-y thing is a fun change for her. She is well suited to something classic. Bonus points for the fact that her shoes are super glittery, because at her age, super glittery shoes are -- I think --to be encouraged.

This volume can be tricky, but I think it really works on her here.

She did NOT need a bracelet, and in fact I love this one and will HAPPILY take it off her hands. Or arms. Whatever.

[Well Played: Elle Fanning in Vivienne WestwoodShe just spent all summer hanging out with Angelina Jolie, and while Angie would never wear this color -- sadly -- this shape feels reminiscent of Jolie's greatest hits (in general, but also in particular), and I love it. \[Photo: Fame/Flynet, Getty\]![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/453619608.xml)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/elle-fanning-at-the-hollywood-foreign-press-associations-grants-banquet-08-2014/)
