I love this, and I love that they shot it in front of a marquee with a great variety of films on it. (I am sure those are the actual films showing there; it's just a smart choice.)

Anthony was John Laurence/Philip Schuyler Jr. in Hamilton, and apparently carries a lot of this film. He is SUPER talented. He posted on IG his dance/song audition for the Rum Tum Tugger when the Cats movie was casting, and like... he has to be thrilled that didn't pan out, but damn, he was charismatic and they should have cast him. (Please note, I say this not having seen Cats the movie, because I feel like it's going to be SO BAD that I need to give it my full attention?!?)

This photo really IS capturing a dreamer. It has the feel of someone looking forward toward a big future. I love the vibe.

This is a happy photo and I love what they're both wearing, but: Please laugh with me at where this photo cuts off the marquee. WE ARE 100 PERCENT COVID cannot be what the Orpheum hoped to communicate today.

The Orpheum will like this photo much better.

I don't love draping oneself on the side of a building. That pose in this context doesn't really make sense? Is this a glamorous stick-up?

I had NO IDEA he was in this movie. You might recall Corey as the actor who took over 24 when Fox rebooted it, and when I sampled Quibi in the free trial period, I watched his show with Sophie Turner. It was not good. But HE was (and so was she actually). I've read very positive reviews of him here and I'm so happy about that. I wish this weren't so somber a photo.

I also appreciate THAT marquee. She is also modeling the heck out of it. Still missing the lightness from you, Corey.

Oooh, though. IN THE HEIGHTS indeed.
