# Elle: Kylie Jenner

I guess pictures like this ARE how the KardJenners built their empire, so that part is accurate. But *Elle* always positioned itself as more accessible than *Vogue*, and yet more sophisticated than *Glamour* and *Cosmo*, and this does not fit in that window.

Oh, but the jersey is CELINE, and thus probably costs about $700\. Much posh, very fashion!!!!!

I DO like that the shoes play nicely with the curvature of the headboard, but that's about all I've got.

However, cosplaying as a lost little girl with her favorite stuffy is CREEPY, especially in the context of all these other photos.

They have made her look like the saddest, emptiest person alive, when her British Vogue profile -- the story, anyway -- managed to capture buoyancy in her. Where is that? If Kylie is co-signing this creative plan, she shouldn't.

FOR REAL, she looks like they caught her in the middle of sliding down the door in an existential funk.

One or two shots like this for variety, whatever, but almost all of them?!? At least she looks HAPPY in this one, for variety.
