Oh, J to the L-O, that is just so silly-looking. I'm not sure if it's an actual breastplate, a la the Tom Ford it seems to be knocking off, or whether it's fabric that has a metallic sheen. It matters not. Appearances matter, and that looks like an expensive lead apron for a dentist to the stars.

... AND goofy from this one, with the tiny strings. That body is legendary, and it should be a Sisyphean effort for it not to look Ultra Bangin', and yet this has somehow done it. The breastplate has somehow undercut The bod. She deserves so much better than a lobster bib made of mercury.

I am curious if someone has talked her into a more subdued style, in the event that Past Lives gets major consideration outside the indie fests. She's often quite avant-garde, and while obviously it's completely fine to turn left at any point, this is VERY... calm. It looks great on her, and it fits PERFECTLY, but it's not what I would have predicted.

Full-body denim isn't for me, so I'm surprising myself by saying that I think this works! The skirt drapes with nice precision, and I like her accessories.
