I love Ava DuVernay, and so that is why I want someone to buy her new shoes. In a color.

I feel like her makeup is in a better place, but this dress isn't memorable on its own merits and isn't accessorized to help itself along. It screams, "When can I get back to my hotel room," basically.

Schumer would've looked good in this, although it's not like I am mad that Kate got it. The little touch of interest is jus enough to keep this both simple AND interesting. And her face is ridiculous. In a good way. I really need to hydrate more.

She loves a shoe with a platform and I don't tend to, but: This ensemble is lovely and her lipstick is perfect, and even though the purse fights with it and she could use a bracelet, I'm pretty sure she nailed it.

This feels a little like something she'd wear to the christening of her godson, or to her fifth wedding, but I'm still giving her a pass for pulling herself together at all so soon after having a baby.

This is pretty cool on her -- it's like slouchy-chic sportswear with a glam streak, and the shoes give it a little extra verve.
