Elton John's Final Show

Heidi Klum

Heidi is a fixture at Elton's Oscar party, so it's no surprise to see her. But an outdoor concert in L.A. in November is not a WARM prospect, exactly. Do we assume half these people watched from backstage or some kind of heated lounge? It would explain the lace pants. Tons of people dressed up, but most of them went with sequined layers.

It cracks me up to see her husband Tom in a wool coat and she's fully ventilated.

Dua Lipa

True confession: I don't hit the clubs, which is clearly what it's for, so I think her song with Elton is deadly boring. Because she was only coming on Sunday, he sat at his piano and we all just watched video of Dua's parts on the screens. It was smart built-in rest for his pipes, at least.

JoJo Siwa

I made friends with someone in the merch line, and we both agreed we planned poorly for this concert. I did at least have my sparkly gold Doc Martens, but I was without glasses, boa, or a sequined Dodgers jumpsuit. JoJo Siwa, on the other hand, planned PERFECTLY. (I imagine she was pleased when she saw the clips of Rocketman, in which Taron Egerton wears this.)

Kirsten Dunst

This outfit right here is one of the reasons I've decided I'd get along well with Kirsten Dunst. She's comfortable, she's warm, and she actually looks like she's going to go sit in her seat and then jump up and dance and then give her feet a rest again.

Amy Landecker and Bradley Whitford

Ditto these outfits. I love what Amy is wearing. Some Elton flash, but also, she can get to the car without crying. (I know she probably has premium parking, whereas we were parked out near where they keep the defunct Dippin Dots carts, but still.)

Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance

AND AGAIN. These two are here to dance.

I am a TINY but surprised more of them aren't in silly glasses and things?

Lisa Ann Walter

HERE we go.

Sophia Bush

I sincerely hope that corset lights up.

Kiki Dee

Kiki! I was sad when we didn't get you on Saturday. You said you wouldn't go breaking my heart. YOU LIED TO ME.

Xochitl Gomez

Ginger Spice DOES feel like Elton's spiritual cousin.

Brandi Carlile

I love all of this.

Lucy Hale

She looks like she's going to a job interview. (Maybe she IS. Maybe she's angling to be a roadie.)

Jenna Dewan

It's true, the concert started at 8ish and ended probably at 11? Once you get out of the parking lot, it's bedtime. Come prepared.

Isabella Pappas

She's on a Disney show, and I hope that show is hot, because SHE is about to be very chilly.

Dita Von Teese

This is exactly what one would anticipate her wearing. I love the shoes and the multicolor speckles everywhere.

Elton

His jackets were of course very sharp. He also got up and pointed at people after every song, and seemed to be entreating us to cheer. It stressed me out a little. Were we not loud enough? I thought we were pretty noisy.
