This was for one of those AOL Build events, and it's a SUPER cute floral dress, with great shoes. It was a dynamite spring day here in L.A., so even though she was in New York, this felt totally right to me as I wandered in and out of my own house.

When she waves, you can see that there appears to be an interior AND exterior sleeve. It's really almost like each elbow is wearing its own poncho, which feels excessive, but I'm sure sometimes elbows get pissed that shoulders have all the fun.

When you see both sleeves TOGETHER, though, that's when it all starts to feel a tad aggressive. There is a lot of fabric in play here that I suspect is quite cumbersome, and with the detailing, the coat would've been just fine without all that extra. So unless the sleeves have a secret second function -- smuggling snacks, Kleenex, or tiny bottles of wine -- then streamlined might be the way to go.
