Yesterday, I noted that a lot of Emily's looks recall the covers of YA romances from the 80s and this DEFINITELY falls into that category. This is a YA romance about a girl with a horse who gets a fatal disease but suffers BEAUTIFULLY. (And then does not actually die. The 80s had a lot of YA books about people getting fatal diseases.)

These boots must be comfy -- she wears them a lot and has them in two colors. This is the book, of course, that is an 80s rip-off of Almost Famous. Don't ask me how someone in the 80s ripped off a movie from 2000. Is the author a time-traveller? OMG someone should write The Author Was A Time-Traveller!
