I mean, I DO think it's possible she thought 29Rooms (which is a Refinery29-associated art installation) was a Studio 54 spin-off for the current millennium/hellscape and decided to dress accordingly. I also think she deserves a prize of some sort -- a BevMo gift card? A lifetime supply of PopTarts? A bag of rocks? -- for inspiring me to mutter sincerely, "I think this would have been better with a bra top," startling myself so profoundly that I nearly fell off my chair and into a pile of empty Amazon boxes. Apparently, I can still surprise myself.
