The Goodwood Festival of Speed is NOT celebrating amphetamines but instead "[is motorsport's ultimate summer garden party, an intoxicating celebration of the world's most glamorous sport.](https://www.goodwood.com/motorsport/festival-of-speed/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) Nowhere else will you get so close to the cars and bikes as they blast up the hillclimb track; nowhere else will you enjoy such unrestricted access to the machines and the drivers who made them famous." ([You may remember it from Downton Abbey, where it stood in for Brooklands](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-the-show-downton-abbey-recap-episode-607-02-2016/).) It's also where Emma Corrin chose to wear that jaunty hat, then discard it and put on a rather more dignified coat situation:
