*Bugonia* is a remake of a South Korean sci-fi movie about two dudes who kidnap a female CEO because they believe she's an alien trying to ruin Earth. I can think of a lot of people currently who seem fairly likely to be planet-destroying alien shitbirds, but regardless: It's the movie for which Emma shaved her head, on camera, which she told *Vogue* is taking a very long time to grow out. Wikipedia tells me: *"Bugonia" is a Greek word, spelled "bougonia", which refers to an ancient Mediterranean ritual or belief that bees spontaneously generate from the carcasses of dead animals, particularly oxen.* I... am now very concerned about why Yorgos Lanthimos chose that title.
