This works for me. I wish she had wore a bracelet? I always want people to wear a bracelet. I am really into bracelets right now, you guys. But I'm not mad at her. She was really lovely in person AND she was very nice to me, in a sincere-seeming way. And she's really funny on Veep. And, you know....I basically just always love Elaine Benes.

There is a joke in here somewhere relating to the time Elaine inadvertently sent out the Christmas card with her nipple in the picture.

I do not like this. AND HERE'S WHAT I'M GOING TO DO WITH IT. (*Throws dress out window*)

## Emmy Awards Nominee Reception

Yada yada yada, this probably looks better in person.

Not that this looks BAD, it's just kind of basic.

## Heal The Bay's Bring Back The Beach Fundraiser

This happened all the way back in May, but I had to throw it in because I love it. I feel very schmoopy about it. (Although I am neutral on that belt.) Don't ever get me started on the shoes. You've got to love the shoes.

[Emmy Awards and etc: Mostly Well Played, Julia Louis-DreyfusWe got to chat up Elaine here briefly on Sunday, in the course of which I (unintentionally) got her to say, "GET OUT" into my phone. I NEED to make it my text message alert, because she said it really deadpan. Next Emmys, I'm getting her to do the Elaine Dance, I swear to God.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2012/09/152689652.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/emmy-awards-and-etc-mostly-well-played-julia-louis-dreyfus-09-2012/)
