# Emmy Awards Been There, Fugged That Carpet: Edie Falco

I've gone on record before as liking this dress.

The problem is, though, that I've already seen this dress. And this is the EMMYs, not some random cocktail party or premiere, and that is multiple statuette-snagger Edie Falco -- who is one of those people who could show up on an HBO stage and sneeze for ten minutes and get nominated. It doesn't matter how good her dress is; somebody should be giving her a fresh outfit, not a dress that G[wyneth Paltrow wore to the Grammys back in February](https://gofugyourself.com/grammys-well-played-gwyneth-paltrow-02-2012?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and then [Brooklyn Decker trotted out at a *Battleship* event](https://gofugyourself.com/well-played-brooklyn-decker-04-2012?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). *BATTLESHIP*, y'all. Edie Falco is better than sloppy *Battleship* seconds, no matter how tasty they seem.

Also, her face is better than whatever that hair is doing to it. The end.
