The bow tie is kicky!

Behold the sleeve!

I think this is gorgeous. Someone in the comments noted it seemed a bit Fall/Winter, which I can also see.

SNORE.

I think she looks fantastic in this.

I will always love her for telling me and Heather what was happening in the various football games she was keeping an eye on in the limo.

Also dishy.

I am coming around on these kinds of hems. This is very lovely on her.

I seriously forgot she was alive.

Bear in mind that she spent the entire red carpet with a handler holding an umbrella over her head, as well.

He's as cute in person as you'd want. Who'd have thought someone from Drop Dead Diva would end up on Mad Men?

I like this color. It might be a wee busy, structurally.

Could he be ANY TANNER?

I know she wasn't on the red carpet, but it's hard to resist Chloe and her half-shaved head.

Because we haven't talked about THIS enough.

SPARKLE, CHRISTINE! SPARKLE!

This dress is BULLSHIT!!! Not really. I just wanted to see what it would be like if Claire's Homeland character worked for GFY. We'd be SO MUCH MORE CAPSY.

Hey, y'all! This could be better, right?

"Hello, Emmy. I'm handsome. Um, I mean, I'm Damian."

Been there, done that.

This would be lovely as a duvet cover.

I know a lot of people liked this, but I just can't.

SNORE.

Not terrible, but her Fake Hair Wrangler needs to go Real Human and not Polyester.

I still like this, even after all these days. Insert usual blah blah about her facial expression here.

Don't worry, Glenn. Everything else about you is awesome.

I also enjoy that there's something about this photo that makes it look like she just woke up from a nap. A GLAMOROUS NAP.

The mustache is for a movie he's currently making about Walt Disney. It does NOT make his face the happiest place on earth.

What would Schmidt say, CeCe? It would probably be a weird metaphor about cheese, but it might not be positive.

He's adorable.

Sometimes I think Marchesa is personally out to get me.

WHAT A SURPRISING LOOK.

BEHOLD.

Can you give me a schtickle of fluoride?

This has kind of grown on me, like a fungus. A fashion fungus.

I don't watch Suburgatory and thus Jane Levy could run me over with her car and I wouldn't be able to ID her. That said, this is pretty.

More shiny, more sparkle. Am I OVER SPARKLE? Maybe I am coming down with something.

Oh, hell no.

"Meet us under the waning moon at the base of Ancient Gourd Mountain. Bring a lock of his hair."

EVERYONE: stop sticking your leg out of the slit in your dress FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Westfeldt also looks pretty good, I gotta say. That color is great.

I get that the hair is for Justified but HOW DOES THAT EXCUSE THE VEST? I still love you, Jeremy Davies. I'm just...saying.

She is awesome.

This look is gorgeous, I think.

Anna is holding up pretty well considering everything that's happening with MISTAH BAAAATES (don't spoil me!).

Remember when he was on Roseanne? He'll always be Darlene's lobster to me.

GET OUT.

I like to think that he attached a clip of the scene in Pretty In Pink where he lip-syncs to Otis Redding to his Emmy reel, and just stuck a note on it that said, "all this, and I lived through Sheen."

I liked this and you can't stop me!!!

I do think the color on this is fantastic.

Ditto about the color.

Ditto ditto about the color. Actually, I kind of think this was a success, period.

...this was NOT.

MORE COLOR. THANK YOU JESUS. If we got another red carpet chockablock with nudes, I was going to go on a violent, destructive spree.

There is something about this that feels off for the occasion, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why. Maybe I just feel like she ought to be home fretting about the NFL refs strike, given her family background.

If you think I get rage-y about matching your shoes to your dress, you can imagine how I feel about matching your hair.

SNOOZE.

On Sunday, I looked up and Kevin Costner was standing right in front of Heather. "What should I ask him?" she asked. "Ask him if everything he does, he does for you," I said.
Not really. I actually said, "um, something about Bryan Adams." I KNEW THAT JOKE WOULD COME. I mean, obviously, the actual Bryan Adams joke is, "ask him if he's ever really really really really really really really really ever seriously really ever ever loved a woman," but Costner isn't IN that movie. Comedy is hard.

I can't believe they didn't send the Color memo to Wiig. SHE NEEDS IT THE MOST.

I know this wasn't that popular, but guess what? I STILL kind of like this.

Ooh, Lena, you dropped your Eye of Newt.

This is very possibly my best dressed.

Not boring, at least?

I really like this EXCEPT it's like basically sheer, which is a bridge too far for me.

I feel like this dress, and Lily Rabe's dress, are distantly related.

The color on this is great. I'm not a giant fan of her, personally, but I think this is possibly the best I've seen her look at an awards show.

A little dour for such a funny lady.

Lady Mary, I miss you.

This color is divine.

Illusion netting never worked so hard.

I also liked this, but it can not be said enough: she HAS to stop screwing with her face. She HAS to. She seemed really nice when we saw her at the Emmys, and we all know she is talented. As an actress, she NEEDS HER FACE. NICOLE YOUR FACE DOES NOT MOVE. Please, please, PLEASE PLEASE leave it alone going forward.

Suddenly, I have the most powerful craving for an Orange Julius.

I had blocked this out until just now. AND IT IS TERRIBLE. WHY is this SO TERRIBLE?

I sincerely love this kid.

This is also one of my faves of the night, I think. In part because it's such a change for her.

I'm glad Max Greenfield went for the classic tux. I worry Schmidt might have gone overboard.

SHE is gorgeous. This might have been a little much?

I just love him, is all.

NATURALLY.

I also forgot about this, but in this case, what I forgot is how great she looked.

I appreciate Zachary Quinto's devotion to unusual yet flattering formalwear.

This is just sad.
