## Julie Bowen

There is so much happening here that even Barbie would roll her eyes. Bowen works hard in interviews (perhaps too hard) to make sure people know she's not very girly and that she's Super Regular and whatnot, so not only is this at odds with that persona, but it's also so much more aggressive than anything else she's ever worn. It's drunken origami.

I mean, that looks like a Prom photo, except without the teased-up hair helmet that the era would require.

I mean, does this person look like she has time for furbelows?

## Connie Britton and Julie Bowen

However, these two seem to enjoy each other. Maybe Connie is saying, "Hey, Julie, come on over and be the throw pillow to my expensive sofa."

This is so much better. It's so RELAXING, by comparison. I can feel my frill-induced stress ebbing.

[Emmy Awards Fug Carpet: Julie BowenDo we think this is Julie Bowen overcompensating for having three rambunctious sons at home? Because otherwise, it simply doesn't compute. \[Photos: Getty\]![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/181617402.xml)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/emmy-awards-fug-carpet-julie-bowen-09-2013/)
