This really underwhelmed for me -- it's so wrinkly and blah, two things the lady herself is not. I also want to put a dunce cap on whoever at LV did the seaming on this thing, because it's so distracting to see all that puckering on the bust. Cinderella's mice did a cuter job, and they don't have opposable thumbs.

In close-up, you can see why I also did not care for the slightly frayed, sewn tulle. I'm trying to tone down how cranky I am about this, because after I typed the first slide I actually said to Jessica, "Wow. I am in a MOOD TODAY." But the design and execution and whatnot just seem so uninspired. I just want to write afjklasdfjklasdfjl;k.

... I like the shoes? The long sleeves under the short sleeves is overkill. And there is a lot of twee. It's a tweehouse. It's The Giving Twee.

By comparison, I love this. I might like it on its own merits, but I like it a LOT more than the other two. Lady Mary might look at this and fret that an inkwell had exploded, but Lady Mary has other things to worry about, like Matthew's once-immobilized pelvis.

This is good, too. I wish she'd worn it with the orange pumps, thus sparing them the pain of Tweedom and relegating these to that province instead.
