The thing is, I DO appreciate her going out on a limb and trying something different -- and especially different for HER, given that she usually goes sleek and simple. I just worry her face gets lost, and her face is so GOOD.

She's in a bit more command of it here, maybe? I don't know why I can't wholly sign off on it. Perhaps I need to be wooed.

CUNNING PLOY, Margulies. But I will not be so obviously woooooo... wait, what were we talking about? Oh, right: Great dress babe. ... HEY WAIT. STOP THAT, KEITH.

And now she's giving face, too. Man, is she lovely. Back to the dress, though, the cut definitely isn't my problem; it's the pattern, which I keep thinking veers toward home decor -- and less in a "funky downstairs powder room" way than a "Bed In A Bag" way.

This is not going to help us decide anything, really. I just wanted to share. HBO really needs to stop with the funkadelic backdrops. Truth be told, I love them, and I hope someone at the network has kept them all. But they always end up turning somebody's gown into a psychedelic headache.
