She really deserved that Emmy. And I love the sunglasses. I kind of admire the Movie Star Cojones it takes to wear your sunnies on the red carpet the whole time. It was BRIGHT OUT, and she looks glam in them. In fact, overall this is very well accessorized.

In fact, I kind of miss the sunglasses. There is a part of me that wishes she'd worn them the entire time, a la Anna Wintour. I think Lange looks great, though. That color is fab on her. She's 63, and she's working it.

This dress is supremely inoffensive and totally acceptably pretty. I liked Mara on AHS, I'm sorry we won't get to see more of her given the anthologized nature of the show. I do, however, need to direct your attention to her hair. I thought this was just some kind of side-pony something-something. HOWEVER:

Obviously, this was intentional. But it SERIOUSLY looks like they just forgot to finish her braid.

I want to cut off that left sleeve with every fiber of my soul. Just slice it right off.

But I salute Breckenridge for the fact that she is obviously Doing the Jolie as a joke. The more people take the piss out of Angelina Jolie, the more I enjoy it. I don't even dislike Angelina Jolie, I just found her response to the whole Leg Event -- namely, "I don't read the internet. Were people really commenting on it? How droll and ridiculous of them" -- a bit irritating, and the fact that it's still kind of on-going makes me think that everyone else agrees. Which I enjoy.

This is a little busy for me, but I appreciate her trying something unusual.

Sarah Paulson looks TOTALLY UNRECOGNIZABLE. I actually think this dress is very, very pretty on her -- and I love the brown hair, which I assume is for ASH Season 2.

But it really works on her, right? Her accessories are likewise great. I think this is my favorite of all her red carpet looks. As Taylor Swift would note: like, ever.
