## Samira Wiley in Calvin Klein

This is so gorgeous. The color is wonderful, she looks regal... it evokes [Lupita's from the Globes](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/golden-globes-well-played-lupita-nyongo-01-2014/), but without feeling imitative. It's just wonderful.

And now we're veering into Morticia territory.

## Nazanin Boniadi

You might remember her from Homeland, or That Article Claiming She Was Tom Cruise's Chosen Bride Before Katie Holmes. Now you will know her as Kleenex Breast.

## Melora Hardin

And this one is... what, a three-quarter cape? It's weird, but you know what, I salute it anyway.

[Emmy Awards Well Played and WTF: The Capes/CapettesIf the enduring legacy of Gwyneth Paltrow is that people wear capes on the red carpet now, I have to say, I'm satisfied and on board with that. Even if some of these -- Samira's -- are more successful than others. \[Photos: Getty\]![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2015/09/gettyimages-489365850.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/emmy-awards-well-played-and-wtf-the-capescapettes-09-2015/)
