If you guys ever wonder WHY we keep banging on about Needs A Bracelet, this dress is a classic example. It's a very romantic, pretty Zac Posen, which I wish were in a robust color. But it's not. It's a blank slate. And that can be fun, but: The neckline rules out any jewelry there, and her shoes are a moot point because of the length, so the logical and best place to give this some verve is her wrist. And NOTHING. She did at least throw on some dangly earrings that manage to coordinate with her makeup without strictly matching it, but... to me it's like a cake without frosting, or a Diet Coke that's not cold. It's NEARLY perfect but just missing that one little something that makes it transcendent.
