And this is perfection. Y'all correctly noted that Busy Philipps wore a slightly shorter version first, and it IS very unusual for something to get repeated when it's the Emmys, but... As many of you noted in the comments, Tiffany requested that her gown reflect the colors in the Eritrean flag. It was to honor her father and her heritage, and it's actually the second time she's paid tribute to them both on a major red carpet, the first being the Oscars. I loved the gown before, but now that I know how emotional and thoughtful this is, that pushes into greatness.
