I'm just putting these two in together, because we didn't have them photographed separately.

Again, we had to reach for some of these, so bear that in mind as we go. This qualifies because it's a bummer. I don't like how it's made, and Betty Gilpin deserves greatness. She pulls off insane hair, makeup, and leotards on Glow; she should get better than all those seams.
Claire Foy in Calvin Klein
Her head is lovely and everything else about this is so bland, like she bought off the rack for her quickie wedding and didn't really care how it looked as long as it was white. I don't like that the back looks like it's being peeled off her, either, but here's the real rub: I don't care how modest you are. Claire Foy winning was a real possibility, if not outright the favored outcome, and her team should've picked something that would look interesting at the microphone FROM THE FRONT and not just when she turned to leave.

This shape didn't work on her, for me.

There are some lovely aspects to the skirt, but for me the bodice ruins it.

We jokingly call her Hilarrible Baldwin, except for how we're not joking. This was just a lot, although I personally love the orange.

This one loses its way all over the place. (I know some of you didn't hate this as much as I did, but... she looks like a saloon lawyer. Like the Ed of the old West.)

I love her so much (LOLLY FOREVER), but this thing looked like it was dying ON HER BODY.
Tracee Ellis Ross in Valentino
Here's another one some of you loved because Tracee is so cool. And I feel you, and she probably had fun and clearly didn't take this super duper seriously, but... empirically this is terrible. It's a duvet. I'm not even sure it deserves a design credit because I can't tell that it's even been DESIGNED.
