Leslie is so foxy. The shiny suit fits her personality AND, thanks to Christian, also her body. She looks amazing.

This is custom, so I think it should be hemmed correctly. It's not as interesting as she is, or as her taste usually runs, and... for me, Vera Wang is almost always a letdown.

I would not normally like this, as shirt ponytails traditionally aren't my jam. Christian somehow turned this jumble of decisions into a very crisp outfit. The only real ding that strikes me is the shoes, which seem as if he sent them with her Door No. 2 option and she mixed it up.

This is the lining for an EXTREMELY expensive designer suitcase.

I am going to admit something to you: I can't tell if this is pants. I THINK IT IS. I think I see a crotch in there. But I felt extremely pervy staring at her privates for as long as I did in order to discern that. My screen renders black clothes VERY black and often washes out detail, so... let's just decide it's pants? It's chic and elegant as hell, regardless. When will she and Rachel Brosnahan play sisters in something?

This is solid on her, but I'm down on the shoes.

Other than the foot-eating hem, I like this well enough when she's standing still. I don't have a shot of her moving in it, but I assume she looks like a very futuristic car wash.

These two look great. Suzanne's black blouse is an interesting contrasting choice -- I'm not sure what else would have worked, besides maybe going shirtless and taping that sucker down -- and I'm surprised by how well the blue top works on Amanda. I think it's because most of the time you couldn't see that much of it, because she wasn't always posing this way, so it was less midriff-y than it happens to be here. But this was a 2-for-1 deal, and I love a sale.

This is ostensibly here just to show off how freaking fantastic Kate McKinnon looked during the opening musical number (which did not seem to land with the audience). But it also gives me an excuse to delight anew in Tituss Burgess's pants, and in what Kristen Bell wore, which has so much more verve than what she deployed on the red carpet (coming later). I wish she'd just kept this.

Because she's so wacky on the show, it would be easy to dismiss this as Jenifer being equally kooky in real life, but no. She wore this expressly in support of Colin Kaepernick, which is a doubly interesting choice because black-ish was trying to do an episode about it that got nixed by ABC. I love that she forewent her own vanity to do this. I mean, not that she looks bad in it, but it's leggings in a sea of Lanvin, so to speak. She may have resisted some designer temptation for the sake of speaking up, and good on her for it.
