THIS is why I miss Gwyneth on red carpets. That cape LOOKS vintage. It's wispy and mangy and genuinely looks exhumed, as if she wanted to swan in there on a cloud of evil magic but is running out of gas before our eyes.

She looks... fine! I'm glad she kept it relatively simple. I did laugh at a story she told on E! about watching a bit she did ten years ago where she sang with Jimmy Kimmel, and how terrible she was. I think all the chains might be in aid of this thing I do NOT trust where Kanye is starting his own church? He also bought a house in Wyoming, and she gave an adept answer about how great it is there, but y'all, I don't believe for a second she's going there and chilling out in her sweatpants and communing with nature while Kanye writes sermons.
Great bob, but the dress is a bit drab. The belt seems like a discordant attempt to add interest.

She's in Fleabag, which was the night's surprise winner, given that I tend to think of the Emmys as rewarding more standard fare (did they admit a crush of younger voters?). I sort of like this, but from the front, these styles with their aggressive sleeves hang in such a way that make the wearer look slouchy even when they aren't.
