Featuring: Joey King Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 22 Sep 2019 Credit: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN.com Joey dipped back into the reliable Zac Posen well, the problem being [that last year's raspberry dress](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/emmys-2018-fug-nations-best/70th-emmy-awards-2018-arrivals-29?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) was SO striking that this one seems undercooked by comparison and you can see it pulling in places. I might've slicked back her hair, done a redder lip, and thrown in a killer necklace to help. ## Lonnie Chavis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/10405776bz-1569222298.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (10405776bz) Lonnie Chavis 71st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, Arrivals, Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, USA - 22 Sep 2019 He's always dapper, and the red lapels are no exception. ## Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/wenn37062361-1569222358.jpg) 71st Emmy Awards (2019) Arrivals held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Michael Douglas, left, and Catherine Zeta-Jones arrive at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles 71st Primetime Emmy Awards - Limo Drop Off, Los Angeles, USA - 22 Sep 2019 She looks dramatic and queenly, and the dress somehow feels both like a knockoff of [Gwyneth's 2013 Met Gala Valentino](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/met-ball-fug-or-fine-carpet-gwyneth-paltrow-05-2013/) AND a vast improvement upon it. ## MJ Rodriguez in Jason Wu ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/wenn37062429-1569222366.jpg) 71st Emmy Awards (2019) Arrivals held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Featuring: MJ Rodriguez Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 22 Sep 2019 Credit: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN.com She looks marvelous. She talked on the red carpet about how this night represents the first time she's been taken seriously in her career, and so she wanted a serious, impactful dress. I enjoyed listening to her talk about it. I do think the black bows look a little bit like they're extruding from her chest. ## Sandra Oh in Zac Posen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/wenn37062708-1569222385.jpg) Sandra Oh attends The 71st Emmy Awards - Arrivals in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 22nd, 2019Photograph: © PacificCoastNews. (I love his suit.) ## Patricia Clarkson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/wenn37062043-1569222332.jpg) 71st Emmy Awards (2019) Arrivals held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Featuring: Patricia Clarkson Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 22 Sep 2019 Credit: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN.com Patricia Clarkson won't confess that SHE is the true mastermind of the whole thing because she hypnotized The Beek into doing her sexy witchy bidding. ## Alex Borstein ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/wenn37061884-1569222326.jpg) 71st Emmy Awards (2019) Arrivals held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Featuring: Alex Borstein Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 22 Sep 2019 Credit: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN.com She looks kicky, and like a hoot. That category was stacked with good actors, but it's hard to argue with her performance in Mrs. Maisel. I have a lot of issues with that show, but Alex Borstein's comic timing is not one of them. ## Julia Garner in Cong Tri ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/wenn37062264-1569222341.jpg) 71st Emmy Awards (2019) Arrivals held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. It is trying ALL THE THINGS and it's not particularly good at any of them, and it didn't look great on stage for her big moment. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/09/wenn37063009-1569222394.jpg) 71st Emmy Awards (2019) Press Room held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
