This hat! As I said on Twitter, every time I saw it, I hooted with delight. (But never as loud as when he won; [his speech was fantastic](https://www.vulture.com/2019/09/emmys-2019-billy-porter-acceptance-speech.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) I hope they put chip and dip in his hat at the afterparty.

This dress is sort of underwhelming to me -- it's fine, but the colors are sort of meh -- but it's really just a backdrop for her bag, [about which you should absolutely read](https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2019/09/emmys-2019-laverne-cox-rainbow-purse?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

If I may be honest: I love her for wearing this. It's VERY bold -- Richard Quinn is pretty fashion-forward -- and I'm pleased that someone tried it. Also: It was HOT and humid in LA yesterday, she's lucky she didn't pass out.

## Greta Lee in Christopher John Rogers

Is it weird that I really like this?

It's not weird that I really like this, it's quite beautiful.

I think this was actually more orange than it photographed. Look,[ it's decorative gourd season, motherfuckers](https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/its-decorative-gourd-season-motherfuckers?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and so Janet Mock tacked one to her dress!

## Dascha Polanco in Christian Siriano

Okay, in fairness, those are the prettiest floaties I've ever seen.
