Christina Applegate opened the show, to a HUGE standing ovation, and presented the first two awards. I think everyone has such great fondness for her -- as do I -- and this moment was a great reminder of how charming and charismatic she is. Not for nothing but she also looks EXTREMELY GREAT.

I need to share that when I saw her arrive on the E! pre-show, I could not see her face and I thought this person was JENNIFER LOPEZ (????) revealing a surprise pregnancy and I screamed. Anyway, it's Suki Waterhouse, which is somehow less surprising. I will note that I believe this dress to be FRAUGHT as it also has a low back and I'm worried it was hard to maneuver!

On one hand, I appreciate her really going for it! However, this is bold! (I do think if she grows to one day regret this, she can always be like, "hormones! You know!") I also think it was bold and not great on the runway model, to be frank. As a garment, I find it...perplexing.
