Compared to previous awards shows, we didn't get nearly as many metallics as we have in the past -- [Claire Danes was definitely the most memorable, mostly thanks to her aggressive dance with the bronzer ](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/emmys-fug-and-fab-claire-danes-in-schiaparelli-09-2016/)but [Laverne Cox came in a close second](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/nearly-well-played-laverne-cox-in-naeem-khan-at-the-emmy-awards-09-2016/). But that doesn't mean the red carpet was TOTALLY devoid of shine. Thank god.
