As far as I can tell, both of Taraji's dresses are Vera Wang, and this one is both great, and she would have been SO HOT IN IT on the red carpet. That, honestly, may have been the real reason she changed: She WANTED to wear this one, and she also did not want to pass out from the heat.

This is for sure breezier. It's also a lot more basic, although she looks great in yellow.

And I'm NEVER going to ding her for her amazing accessories. (This clutch is Edie Parker, and the jewelry is by Lorraine Schwartz. FIVE STARS.)

[Emmys Fugs or Fabs: Taraji P Henson in Vera WangTaraji changed between the red carpet and presenting an award and I cannot totally figure out why. I decided she got inside the auditorium, looked at herself in the bathroom mirror in her first look and was like, "eh, I'm over this one." The good news is, she did change into something better for her appearance on stage. An upgrade is always welcome. \[Photos: Getty Images\]![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2016/09/gettyimages-607639708.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/emmys-fugs-or-fabs-taraji-p-henson-in-vera-wang-09-2016/)
