I LOVE this dress on her. I tend to think of her as wearing a lot of black-and-white -- is that true, or my memory playing a trick? -- and this is a really alluring deployment of pink that manages not to be overly cutesy. APPLAUSE. However, I do have a note...

... and that is, the hair. It's WAY too severe on her. She does have bangs and does wear her hair short, but this... I mean, is it a wig? Because if it isn't, you could have fooled me. It looked shellacked and stiff and very much plonked on her head, and I actually think it fights with the dress, too. Please contrast that with how good the following hair would have looked.

This is a thousand times cuter and sassier. And I think this would have played well off the pink dress without pushing it into twee territory. Oh CONSTANCE. What might have been. (Not that it wasn't still pretty damn good regardless.)

This is pretty good in toto, actually. Clearly she was episode 6 of Celebrity Shoe Intervention with Uzo Aduba, because those are unusual and great.

As are those. I love this entire thing, in fact, right down to the lip and the clutch and the hair. UnREAL has been a wildly uneven experience for me as both a viewer and a former reality TV employee, but I love how she sinks her teeth into Quinn and I'm glad she's on my TV.

This is fantastic. I LOVE that electric color. For all my teasing in the intro to this post, Shiri is actually great in UnREAL (and she was on those other shows, too), and as cartoonish as Rachel's and Quinn's immorality sometimes gets, I think it's great that these two female leads are allowed to be dark and complicated and sometimes disgraceful.

Speaking of disgraceful. This dress is SO BAD, ladyfriend. It is a throttling, bandagey world of yikes, with crotch pizza thrown in as a bonus.

Another angle on the skirt, which gets worse the longer I look at it. It's SO Vegas Wedding.

I didn't see this Roswell reunion photo until after I wrote the intro. Hi there Max! Long time no see. Hope you and Liz kept the flame burning.
