I am a little sick of the one-shoulder, I admit, but I can't help loving this on *Dexter*'s Jennifer Carpenter:

I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because I am all schmoopy because her hubby Michael C. Hall beat cancer; maybe it was how they were kind of secret-dating for a while there, and you know how much I love clandestine hijinks; or maybe I just have positive feelings about everything *Dexter* right now despite never seeing a minute of the show, simply because I am so deeply amused that John Lithgow won for his guest role on it and thanked the wrong network. Then again, it's possible she simply looks fantastic in it. Sometimes the best explanation is the simplest one. I hope she reads this and then sends a thank-you card to ESPN.com.
