Stephanie Beatriz
Well, this is all very synergistic; her color scheme matches the one in the name of the movie. This is such a pretty pattern, but the extra hip volume doesn't really suit the cut of the dress, to me? It's like taking the IDEA of Cinderella's ball-gown cut but tacking it onto a cocktail dress expecting it to gel.
Adassa
Yellow is a big color of the night. This is so cute, and while I don't entirely know if those accessories work together with the dress, they're adorable on their own. Quoting Wikipedia, Adessa plays a character whose power is hearing, so she "knows everyone's dirt." That is a good one. MY super power is listening to everyone's dirt, so can I come over?
Carolina Gaitan
Her character is "overly emotional," Wikipedia says, and can control weather. I assume she made sure it was plenty warm enough for sheers on this night. I actually LIKE the pieces of this? I just wish it weren't underpants, as always.
Auli'i Cravalho
She is not in the movie, but I couldn't hold back any longer. This is a shitton of marigold and a truly unexpected amount of boob for a premiere at which people will doubtless be cooing, "OH LOOK IT'S MOANA," and overall I think it's too much look for her.
Rhenzy Feliz, Camila Perez
Perhaps green and yellow were the preferred colors? These two look perfectly nice; I appreciate Rhenzy going there with those pants. (He plays a character who shape-shifts as a metaphor for his own need for self-discovery.)
Diane Guerrero
She voices Stephanie Beatriz's "perfect" sister who can make flowers bloom everywhere. I say this with great love of horticulture: That is not a very interesting power, especially when you stack it up with I Can Hear All Your Gossip. For me, the gloves muddy this terribly.
Isabella Gomez
You might recognize her from the One Day at a Time reboot. Not only are those boring shoes for this outfit, but if you zoom in, they look very painful. I think I'd scrap this whole thing and try again tomorrow.
Isabela Merced
Those pants are a riot, and a ride. The top feels a bit too much like she shopped at a Disney store to try and be thematic.
Charise Castro Smith
She directed the movie, and... let's decide she just didn't have time to shop.
Maria Cecilia Botero
Very nifty! And I love her lipstick against the silver hair.
Kai Martinez
This is THE MOST and I think needed to turn itself down 75 percent.
Wilmer Valderrama, Amanda Pacheco
Wilmer voices Stephanie's character's dad, and while his shirt is interesting and Amanda's dress seems like it's nice... I do not understand this pose, which she appears to have chosen for the entire experience. Did she SPLIT the front of her dress? Was it back day at the gym and she's just feeling excited about showing it? I don't really understand what the point is; it doesn't show off the dress, it doesn't entirely show her, and it's awkward.
LMM and Vanessa
I'd have loved a red shoe.
Jessica Darrow
Jessica's character is described as having "the biggest biceps in Disney history" and "carries all the burdens and never complains." That seems like a clumsy metaphor too? Her dress is sleek and sexy. When I saw a close-up of her face, I thought it was Halsey for a minute.
Angie Cepeda
If this is not a Vampire's Wife dress, it wants to be.
Weird Al and Suzanne Yankovic
Today I learned that Weird Al's wife IS A FOX.
