This is very nice, and posh (and also, in a way, very Posh). As much as I enjoy when Zendaya wears elaborate outfits, it's nice to see her in something unfussy and chill.

Intern C didn't like the boots with this, and I can see where she's going with that. My issue is, I don't like the boots at ALL -- they look like heavy blobs -- and so I think boots in GENERAL would have worked. Even a nice over-the-knee suede or something. The dress itself is mostly good, but the cummerbund is so... wavy.

This has so many pretty elements, but I agree with Intern C's vexed assessment that the top looks like it ripped by accident rather than by stylish choice.

And when you see it from the side and clock the cape piece, I also think it would've been cuter from the front with JUST the cape on both sides, rather than a cape on one side and then a chunk of skirt on the other.

As Thom Browne goes, this is perfectly good and accessible. But also maybe a LITTLE too schoolgirl for a show about actual girls in school? That is very on-the-nose. I'm also intrigued by the recent return to giant barrettes.
